Agreement to Terms
By accessing our website at aucklandhousepainting.nz or engaging our painting services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or services.
Our Services
Auckland House Painting Ltd provides professional residential and commercial painting services across Auckland, New Zealand, including but not limited to:
- Interior and exterior house painting
- Roof painting and restoration
- Wood staining and deck painting
- Commercial and industrial painting
- Plastering, gib stopping, and surface preparation
- House washing and water blasting
Quotes and Pricing
All quotes provided by Auckland House Painting are:
- Free and provided with no obligation to proceed
- Valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated
- Fixed price based on the scope of work described at the time of quoting
- Subject to revision if the scope of work changes materially after the quote is accepted
Any additional work requested beyond the agreed scope will be quoted and approved separately before proceeding.
Payment Terms
Payment terms will be outlined in your individual quote or contract. Generally:
- A deposit may be required before work commences on larger projects
- Final payment is due upon completion and sign-off of the work
- Invoices are payable within 7 days of issue unless otherwise agreed
- Late payments may incur interest at a rate of 2% per month
Workmanship Guarantee
Auckland House Painting provides a 5-year workmanship guarantee on all painting services. This guarantee covers defects in workmanship under normal conditions and does not cover:
- Damage caused by extreme weather events, accidents, or misuse
- Natural deterioration beyond the expected lifespan of the paint system used
- Issues arising from pre-existing structural defects not disclosed at the time of quoting
- Work carried out by third parties after our completion
Client Responsibilities
To ensure the best result and a smooth project, clients agree to:
- Provide accurate information about the property and scope of work
- Ensure reasonable access to the property during agreed working hours
- Disclose any known issues with the property that may affect the work
- Secure or remove valuables and fragile items before work begins
Cancellation
If you need to cancel or reschedule a booked job, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled start date may incur a cancellation fee to cover mobilisation costs. Any deposit paid may be forfeited on cancellations made after materials have been purchased.
Liability
Auckland House Painting holds comprehensive public liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the value of the work performed. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from our services. Any claims must be raised within 12 months of project completion.
